One the top performing schools in the country, Paradise College, like their counterparts have prepared extensively for the Grade 10 Written Expression National Examinations set for today, Thursday 5th June 2025.
Paradise College has two grade 10 classes with a total of 53 students sitting for their exams.
Deputy Principal, Mr. David Robert said that preparation for the exam began early in Term 1, with students dedicating nearly three months to sharpening their writing skills.
From February through to Week 8 of Term 2, the students have engaged in a series of targeted learning activities designed to boost their confidence and competence in written expression.
“Preparations started with the students going through the styles of writing with their teacher in class.”
“The most important preparation was the mock examination.”
“Students were given past examination questions to complete as homework and returned for teachers to check.”
“Three (3) most recent exams were given as in school mock exams – in total students took a total of 6 mock exams.”
“In all cases, the examinations were marked, and feedback was given to students.”
Mr. Robert left these final words to the students, “You will reap what you sow. You have put a lot of effort to prepare for this exam, and I am sure the results will reflect your effort.”
