A total of 395 Grade 10 students from Gordon’s Secondary School are currently sitting for their Written Expression Exams today, June 5th, 2025.
These students join 87, 990 grade 10 students from 514 secondary and high schools, including 48 private permitted schools who also sat the Written Expression exams this morning.
This was confirmed by the school’s Principal Mr. George Wek Kenega.
He also said that since the school did not have a new hall yet, students occupied both the grade 9 and 10 classrooms, in that way students were given enough space away from one another to prevent cheating from occurring and to fulfil exam location requirements.
“There are 8 classes of grade 10 as well as 8 classes of grade 9s.”
“The grade 9s were sent home and will return tomorrow for regular classes.”
Four invigilators were present for the exams; One from Jubilee Catholic Secondary School, one from Asia Pacific College, and two from New Erima Junior High School.
He applauded the students’ punctuality and wished only the best for his students.
“We hope our students do well.”
