Police investigations continue in Mount Hagen following the recent abduction and sexual assault of a female minor from the Western Highlands Province. Western Highlands Provincial Police Commander, Chief Inspector Jacob Kamiak said the incident took place at Kaiwe Buai Market, just outside of Mount Hagen, at around midday on the 15th of April 2021. The University of Papua New Guinea has postponed it’s 66th graduation to an indefinite date due to the current COVID-19 restrictions.
