Among these achievements is the development of new health infrastructure such as the rebuilding of Wewak’s Boram Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility funded by the Government at a cost of K200 million. Through the PNG Defence department and the Disaster office, Prime Minister James Marape mentioned in Parliament that they have sent out K250, 000 for food and relief supplies.
