The Chief Justice Sir Gibbs Salika this week announced the appointment of a Leadership Tribunal to enquire into allegations of misconduct in office by the Sir Puka Temu, Member of Parliament for Abau Open.
The appointment follows a request made by the Public Solicitor Mr. Pondros Kaluwin, to Chief Justice under Section 27 (2) and 27 (7) (e) of the Organic Law on the Duties and Responsibilities of Leadership.
The Tribunal is to be chaired by the Honorable Justice Panuel Mogish.
The other members of the Tribunal are Senior Magistrates Ms. Josephine Nidue and Mr. Wialu Sakatao.
The Tribunal will commence enquiry on a date and time fixed by the Tribunal.
