Papua New Guinean’s Law Council has reiterated calls for ethical practices from all lawyers to uphold the rule of law wherever they are practicing.
The reminder comes from the president of the PNG Law Society, Mr. Hubert Namani.
“As legal professionals, we play a critical role in advising and guiding decision-makers, as well as in making decisions that shape our country’s legal landscape.”
“It is paramount that we maintain a steadfast commitment to ethical practice and the rule of law in all our endeavors.”
“By adhering to ethical standards without bias or undue influence, we contribute to a just and fair legal system that upholds the principles of justice and equality.”
“Our dedication to ethical conduct ensures that our legal advice and decisions serve the greater good of society, free from any external pressures.”
