Managing Director for Golden Rise investment, Daniel Neo in his speech told the Marakum people and nearby villages to look after the infrastructures built as it is part of development into their area.
Neo said while being in the area for some years now he sees that consumption of alcohol and marijuana is very high thus leads to more law and order issues in Marakum area.
"Parents it is your responsibility to teach your children the moral ways of life and you as parents to change your mindset for the better of your children's future," Neo said.
He stressed that if they don't change their mentality then it will be difficult for leaders and foreign investors to deliver services into their area.
Meanwhile, Member for Rai Coast, Kessy Sawang shared the same sentiment that locals must look after the services delivered to their door step.
She added that It is a privilege for Jamad Primary to have such buildings that will assist In the growth in education of the children and appealed to the school board of management and the parents to look after this new services delivered to them. NEWS
