This news just in! PNG has recorded 5 new COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours as of midday on Saturday April 17. This increase the number of total COVID-19 deaths to 89.
The deaths were reported in East Sepik and NCD.
Also in the last 24 hours, 223 new cases have been reported in 12 provinces increasing PNG total cases to 9738.
