New Ireland was chosen as the first province to host a regional examination for the Electrical Licensing examination under the recently established National Energy Authority. Following the official opening of the UN Climate Change, Conference of Parties (COP27) this week in Egypt, Papua New Guinea presented a resounding statement on behalf of the Coalition for Rainforest Nations (CFRN) at the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) session of the COP. The Pan Pacific Masters Games will be trialed as an annual event on the Gold Coast after being a biennial event since 1998, the city’s mayor has announced.
