The inaugural women’s rugby league competition the ‘Santos Cup’ saw the Bitangor Goroko Lahanis crowned as champions after defeating the minor premiers, the Central Dabaris 8 to 6 in an epic footy grand final showdown today. The first 30 minutes of the match saw both teams hustle it out under the raging heat at the Santos National Football Stadium in Port Moresby to a half filled stadium. At the roundabout at Port Moresby Arts Theatre, National Library, National Archives, towards the back and front routes to Parliament Police are monitoring. Members of Parliament just arrived now to Parliament, in several coaster buses and in private cars. The PNG Emergency Medical Team (PNGEMT) and the National St John Ambulance Service successfully provided medical support during Youth Festival on Monday 9th September, at Sir John Guise Stadium attended by over 20, 000 Catholic youths.
