Plans are under to rollout a program that will make custom-made prosthetic limbs that provides more flexibility for amputees who have lost the use of their lower or upper limbs. The “Jaipur Foot Camp Program”, will be implemented by the National Department of Health’s National Orthotic Prosthetic Services (NOPS) and Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH) Physiotherapy Department in partnership with a charity society in India called the Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), which is expected to kick off by February next year. The Yangoru-Saussia District MP and Minister for International Trade and Investment, Richard Maru said, the district in the East Sepik Province will not implement the 1-6-6 school structure. Phases 2 and 3 of the jointly managed “Women Directors Program for 2023” saw a total of 19 female directors successfully complete the program which saw the Kumul Consolidated Holdings managing director, Professor David Kavanamur and the New Zealand High Commissioner, Peter Zwart certify the 19 women.
