Through the PNG Defence department and the Disaster office, Prime Minister James Marape mentioned in Parliament that they have sent out K250, 000 for food and relief supplies. Both the departments are currently on ground with the PNGDF, the Australian Defence Force and the New Zealand DF to carry out assessment reports from the Enga Provincial Administration and recovery efforts in Yambali village in the Mulitaka LLG of Enga Province. “The food and relief supplies are being distributed as I speak.
