Thanks to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Hela Provincial Education Division, 80 students enrolled at the Dauli Teachers College are currently undergoing their third week of teachers training to achieve their Bachelor in Education. After the success of the festive period operations in the Milne Bay Province, Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Superintendent Peter Barkie is now planning to further strengthen the police operational capability in the province. The Morobe Provincial Education Board [PEB] have advised that this year, parents of students in the province will be asked to pay school fees as part of the PEB’s 5 year Education Plan.
