The Autonomous Bougainville Government (ABG) has raised serious concerns regarding an unauthorized landing of New Zealand C-130 aircraft in Buka on Thursday 04th September 2025, describing it as a breach of the Bougainville Peace Agreement. Attorney General Ezekiel Masatt said the incident occurred without prior consultation or authorization from the ABG, as it was required under the Agreement.
