NiuSky Pacific Limited (NSPL) has confirmed that a major internal power outage was the cause of the Air Traffic Control radar and tracking systems being temporarily down on Monday afternoon, disrupting a lot of flights in the process. There was a scare in the skies yesterday when aircrafts found themselves flying blind due to a temporary outage of the Air Traffic Control radar and tracking systems in Port Moresby and Mt. Hagen cities, managed by NiuSky Pacific.
