The New Porgera Limited (NPL) is a step closer to finalising the Community Development Agreement following the recent signing of Long- Term Compensation Agreements (LTCAs) in Porgera, Enga province. NPL announced over the weekend that it has signed the LTCAs with recognized landholder agents for 14 of its 15 tenements that require compensation to be paid, including Special Mining Lease (SML) 13, in compliance with Part VII of the Mining Act 1992.
