A 30-year-old man was caught by Indonesian Special Forces (ISF) at the border while allegedly attempting to smuggle drugs across Papua New Guinea (PNG) to Indonesia on the Western province side of the border. Three police officers have been detained by the NCD Police to allow for investigation to be carried out, following the shooting at the Waigani Market in Port Moresby city yesterday (Sunday, 26th May) that resulted in the death of a young woman.
