Police security operations are slowly coming into place for the security detail for the visit of Pope Francis to Papua New Guinea from September 11th to 13th 2024. Acting Provincial Police Commander (APPC) for Central/ National Capital District (NCD) and Assistant Commissioner for Police (ACP) Peter Guiness told PNG confirming that negotiations are already in motion with the Pope’s representatives.
