Miss Bird of Paradise (MBoP) May T. Hasola, extended her heartfelt congratulations to the newly crowned inaugural Miss Bird of Paradise Gulf Province, Miss Uritai, Annsio Posa.
She said that Annsio had performed outstandingly, carrying herself with poise, intelligence, and confidence.
“We are incredibly proud of you and all that you represent for Gulf and for Papua New Guinea (PNG).”
“This is only the beginning of your journey, and we look forward to seeing the impact you will make.”
The Inaugural Miss Bird of Paradise Gulf Province, Annsio Posa, is twenty years of age and hails from the Uritai village.
She is currently in her second year of studies at the Pacific Adventist University (PAU) studying a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in English and History.
Hasola addressed all the beautiful contestants representing the length and breadth of the Gulf province and thanked them for putting their hands up to go on this journey.
“You have made history as custodians of your culture during this Inaugural Miss Bird of Paradise Gulf Pageant.”
Furthermore, she made a special acknowledgment to the Miss Bird of Paradise Gulf Committee for their tireless efforts and commitment.
“Your hard work and vision have made this historic moment possible.”
“Finally, to the people of Gulf Province, thank you for your support, spirit, and unity in embracing this pageant.”
“We celebrate not just a crowning, but the empowerment of women, the pride of Gulf, and the bright future ahead.”
