Air Niugini welcomed a signed Contract agreement with Airbus to support the new fleet of eleven A220 aircraft with Airbus Flight Hour Service (FHS), including integrated component services, on-site stock, pool access and repair services.
The official signing commenced in a recent ceremony in Port Moresby to mark the arrival of the airline's first aircraft from the A220 main assembly facility in Canada.
Present at the ceremony and signing the official document, the President Airbus Asia Pacific Mr. Anand Stanley and Captain Samiu Taufa, Air Niuginiās Officer in Charge and Acting Chief Operating Officer.
āWe are pleased to sign this agreement with Airbus as part of our comprehensive preparations for our new A220 fleet,ā said Captain Taufa.
