The 2024 Port Moresby Racquets Club Open tournament has ended, after showcasing an amazing combo of experienced players and talented youngsters from both Port Moresby and Lae.
The competition ran from Wed Aug 21st – Sun 25th beginning with the junior matches.
The matches kept watchers on edge as players delivered memorable wins and upsetting losses in both games of tennis and squash.

Winners for the Men’s and Women’s open competition received K1000 cash prize for their efforts.
This year POMRC Open had 145 registrations across both tennis and squash.
55 registrations consisted of junior players and 25 were junior squash players.
Players from Lae Tennis Club also participated in the tournament.
