Get ready to enjoy some great cricket, as the Cricket PNG’s Men’s Isuzu T20 SMASH starts today (Friday, March 29) at 2 pm, kicked off by the Cassowaries and Mudmen, at Port Moresby’s Amini Park, the home of cricket in PNG.
The four sides competing are Cassowaries, Mudmen, Mariners, and Black Bass, with the tournament running for three consecutive weekends, which will see each side play one another twice in a round-robin group stage with the two top sides progressing to the final.
The teams are made up of five Barramundi players, four Under-19 Garamut players, and four local players selected from an open draft.
