With the ongoing issue faced by Puma Energy and its latest notice to reduce the size of its operations and fuel supply proportionate in the country, Exxon Mobil affiliates has put its hand up and has shown commitment to supply fuel to the country.
For the past 102 years an ExxonMobil affiliate, Mobil Oil New Guinea Limited, has reliably supplied quality fuels and lubricants to Papua New Guinea.
Chairperson and Managing Director of ExxonMobil PNG, Tera Shandro said its current fuel supply operations are normal as they primarily come from ExxonMobil’s world class refinery in Singapore.
“Today, ExxonMobil and its affiliate companies’ commitment to Papua New Guinea remain firm.”
“We are actively collaborating with the PNG Government to increase our imports of fuel products into the country and look forward to working with our customers on their fuel needs.”
