Papua New Guinea recorded 219 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours ending 12 midday on Monday April 12, increasing the total number of COVID-19 cases for the country to 8,821.
Globally, the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 is 134,957,752 including 646,863 new cases reported in the last 24 hours. The global death toll is 2,918,752 of which 10,712 were reported in the last 24 hours.
So far 21 provinces in PNG have reported COVID-19 cases. This includes a total of 69 COVID-19 related deaths.
