Police at Gordons contained fighting at the 8 mile in the National Capital District that is alleged to be a spillover from the recent unrest in the Enga Province. Gordons Police Station Commander (PSC), Senior Inspector Gabriel Kini says he and his men were stationed at the 8 Mile Settlement yesterday afternoon and into the evening and they were able to bring the situation under control. PSC Kini said that ATS, 9 Mile & the Wildlife Settlement, as well Makana’s Morobe Block, continue to be hot spots for criminal activities. Apart from that, SIP Kini said that his command and especially around the Gordons Market area, continues to experience the usual petty criminal activities. There were also reports of some trouble this morning at Gordons Market, which PSC Kini will update later today once reports are compiled.
