A quick response by police in Port Moresby city over the weekend resulted in the apprehension of suspects who were involved in a home invasion at the Glory Estate in 8 Mile. The police apprehended three of the total ten suspects that broke into the house and stole items. The seven are still on the run. According to the police report, it was alleged that on Saturday night, January 18th, ten men who were armed with homemade guns and other forms of weapons, entered an apartment at Glory Estate and stole three phones, a laptop, and K30, 000 cash. Police units who were on night duty quickly responded to the distress call at the Glory Estate. Police were able to track one of the stolen phones between 1am and 2am and apprehended three suspects. The suspects are now detained at the Boroko Police Station after being charged with the appropriate charges, while the hunt for the others continues at this time.
