ST FRANCIS TVET CENTRE PROUDLY MARKS 35TH GRADUATION CEREMONY

The St Francis TVET Centre proudly marked its 35th Graduation Ceremony – another step in fulfilling its commitment to equipping young Papua New Guineans with vital technical and vocational skills.

A total of 223 students graduated this year under full sponsorship from Jason Peter, Member for Huon Gulf and Minister for Community Development, Youths and Religion.

His strong support for education continues to create opportunities for families across the district, enabling young people to develop their skills and pursue meaningful careers.

Minister Peter further reinforced his commitment by announcing that more young men and women are encouraged to enroll at St Francis TVET in 2026, assuring that he is prepared to continue providing full scholarships.

This sustained support reflects his clear vision for empowering youth, fostering community development, and building long-term human resource capacity in Huon Gulf District and throughout Papua New Guinea (PNG).

The St Francis TVET Centre conveys its sincere gratitude to the Minister for his ongoing leadership and support. The Centre also acknowledges the dedication of its staff, parents, partners, and community leaders who continue to contribute to the institution’s success.
