“The main reason as to why we are sponsoring this event is mainly being proactive in bringing awareness starting with family planning which was showcased in the first episode,” Sios said.
Sios added that their main focus was to get all Papua New Guineans to understand the importance of working together in getting everyone vaccinated.
“It is important that we all get vaccinated so that we can all go back to a normal life and also protect ourselves from this pandemic.”
Director of the documentary, Marco Venditti also stated that the purpose of the documentary was to showcase the hard work of doctors in PNG and how much effort they put into their work.
“I know how hard doctors work.”
“They treat so many people on a daily basis with very little capacity, medicine and poor infrastructures, but yet, work so hard at what they do.” Mr Venditti said.
