The Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary (RPNG) and Pacific International Hospital (PIH) will conduct a standard Health Check activity scheduled for Tuesday, March 4th, 2025, from 8:00 am 11:00 pm at Boroko Police Station, Port Moresby city.
Over 700 police personnel will be evaluated with essential health services, including Body Mass Index (BMI) assessments, Glucose Random Blood Sugar (GRBS) tests, and Blood Pressure (BP) monitoring.
In a proactive effort to support the health services, PIH demonstrates a steadfast commitment to the health and well-being of those who protect our communities, symbolizing a significant Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort.
An additional 20% discount on outpatient consultations at Pacific International Hospital will be offered for officers who require additional care.
The Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Benjamin Turi, Commander of the National Capital District and Central provinces, praised the RPNGC for sustaining officer’s health and fitness condition.
He emphasized the importance of officers attending health checkups, as they often miss these services. He mentioned that since the department and PIH started this initiative, every officer should take it upon themselves to get checked and know their health status.
