Provincial Police Commander (PPC) for Western Highlands Mr. Jacob Kamiak is currently travelling through the province, conducting inspections of the working and living conditions of his police personnel.
Mr. Kamiak said that he will be out of his office and on the road throughout this week, conducting his inspections.
“I have visited Tambul Nebilyer yesterday and I am going to Baiyer River today,” he said.
The PPC is expected to visit other district police stations within the province this week.
“I will be doing inspections in Dei Council, Mul Baiyer, Tambul Nebilyer and then I will head back to Mt. Hagen,” Mr. Kamiak said.
The Provincial Police Commander (PPC) said that the purpose of this provincial inspection is to check in on the wellbeing of the policemen serving in the rural areas.
“I am looking at how my policemen are living and working in their respective posts at the moment,” Mr Kamiak added.
The Western Highlands Provincial Police Commander (WHP PPC) hopes to gain an insight into the working and living conditions of his police personnel and is expected to conclude his inspections before the end of the week.
