Police units, including Water Police, Sector Patrol 101, 105, and Traffic officers, demonstrated swift action during night operations.
Responding to multiple distress calls around Boroko and Waigani including a report from Mango Mine in East Boroko, they arrested a man from Tari who was intoxicated and harassing a family.
Quick intervention caused the suspect to flee initially, but with support from community leaders, he was later apprehended.
Sector Patrol 105 also responded to a traffic accident on Poreporena Freeway, apprehending two intoxicated individuals involved.
The damaged vehicle was promptly towed to the Traffic Office for further investigation.
Meanwhile, Sector Patrol 101 conducted stop-and-search operations and dispersing crowd activity, targeting suspicious youths along the road, enhancing public safety.
