Congratulations to the Men’s Basketball team with their 73-67 victory over Fiji at the FIBA Melanesian Basketball Cup in the final round and qualifying for the Pacific Games 2023.
The Women’s team went down to Fiji 65-54 however, they will have a second chance tomorrow in the finals. They have also qualified for the 2023 Pacific Games after they finished second behind Fiji.
The Finals will take place today with PNG Women taking on Fiji whilst the Men take on New Caledonia.
Both teams are on course to retaining the Melanesian Cup.
