Port Moresby Nature Park will be hosting a 4-day Plant Sale Weekend this week, starting from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th August, coinciding with Repentance Day as a public holiday. With positive responses from our last Plant Sale Weekend which was hosted in May this year, the Park’s management decided to extend the event this time around.
Plant prices will range from K10 to K200, where all proceeds raised from the Plant Sale will directly go towards the upkeep of the Park and its animals. Residents of Port Moresby and surrounding Central provinces can note that entry to the Plant Sale is free, while admissions to visit the Park will adhere to regular entry fees.
The Plant Sale will be hosted at the Port Moresby Nature Park’s main car park area with the Plant Sale commencing from 9am to 3pm throughout the four days. All guests are encouraged to observe the Park’s Covid Safety measures of Mask-wearing, hand-santising and social distancing while at the event.
To find out more about the Plant Sale Weekend, or to book a venue this public holiday, call the Park’s reservation team on 326 0258 or email reservations.pomnp@gmail.com
