Lester Biama Pitaro from Northern Province was diagnosed with Filariasis of the scrotum since 2019 and has been living with this condition until now. He is the current breadwinner for his family and due to his condition, he has left work and is unable to continue to provide. Lester is currently admitted at the Popondetta General Hospital awaiting surgery, however his surgery cannot go ahead as he needs blood. The hospital’s blood bank doesn’t have blood to assist with his surgery. He is making a call to friends, families and people living in and around Popondetta town who are able to donate blood to come forward and help him. His blood type is A and he needs at least 5 bags of blood for his surgery to go ahead.
