Parliament sitting resumed this morning only to adjourn for a week to allow time for the VONC motion to go through its process as required by the constitution. Leader of Government Business and Member for Bougainville Peter Tsiamalili Jnr said the motion of a VONC is now active having been entered on the parliament notice paper. The Leader of Government Business then moved a motion to adjourn parliament to Thursday 12th September, at 10am
