The PANGU Pati, this morning at the Government House in Port Moresby, was officially invited by the Governor General to form the new government along with its coalition partners.
The GG said Pangu Pati with the highest number of members already elected into office after the 2022 National General Elections, has the required number of as per the constitution to form the next government.
He signed Section 63 invitation and later handed it over the Pangu Pati General Secretary Mr. Morris Tovebae to sign to make it official.
Pangu Pati leader and MP for Tari Pori, James Marape, said he has more than 82 members in his camp at Loloata and they will be present tomorrow at parliament for the first sitting to mark the speaker first and then the election of the PM.
