Pacific Corporate Security in Lae has partnered with the University of Goroka for a student internship program.
Sales and Marketing Admin Manager of PCS in Lae, Jayson Kum, says as part of this agreement, UOG students will participate in a six-week internship program aimed at enhancing their job-oriented skills and knowledge.
Kum says three students had begun their internships on July 29th and will complete their program on September 10th.
Meanwhile, the University of Goroka’s Internship Program Coordinator, Kevin Ivan, expressed his gratitude to PCS for allowing UOG students to do internship training.
“Thank you, PCS, for your continued support in contributing towards instilling job-oriented skills and knowledge to our next generation of human resources, “says Ivan.
Kum says PCS aims to strengthen its public relations with the University of Goroka and the broader business community through this initiative, emphasizing its commitment to learning and development for future generations.
