While this is happening in Vanuatu, here in Papua New Guinea we are experiencing strong winds as a result of that.
However National Weather Services Director Mr Jimmy Gomoga said, “There is no tropical cyclone warning for Papua New Guinea.”
“There are no cyclone warnings or threat for PNG, however we have strong wind warnings as well as gale force warning for PNG Waters,” said.

“The National Weather Service is keeping a close watch on the system and if anything arises warnings will be sent out early, however for now, everyone is urged to not panic but rest assure that here is no cyclone warning for PNG at present.”
