NEW ROADMAP SET FOR NCD'S HEALTHCARE DELIVERY

The National Capital District Provincial Health Authority (NCDPHA) has finalized its Strategic Health Service Development Plan following a year-long, five-part consultative process, setting a new course for healthcare delivery across the district and Motu Koitabu Villages.

Supported by key local leaders, including Governor Powes Parkop, the final workshop, brought together district CEOs and stakeholders to align service improvements with community needs.

"It is important that we have a clear plan to guide our health sector development. This is something I have always advocated for because without a plan, it is difficult to achieve meaningful progress. These documents provide the direction needed to improve health services for our people and ensure accountability in implementation," Governor Parkop said.

"The development of the Strategic Health Service Development Plan has been a collaborative journey involving our staff, partners, stakeholders, development agencies, district leaders, and community representatives. The productive discussions and contributions received throughout the consultation process have helped shape plans that are practical, achievable, and aligned with our vision of delivering quality health services to the people of the National Capital District," NCDPHA CEO Dr. Robin Oge added.

The successful completion of these consultations paves the way for the formal endorsement and implementation of the plan. You can read the full, original media release for more details.
