Police Commissioner David Manning confidently said that he is happy with the security arrangements for leaders attending the Forum for India Pacific Islands Countries (FIPIC) Summit so far.
He said members of the security forces (Police, PNG Defence Force and Correctional Services) have planned in earnest and committed to ensure that the world leaders’ visit was a safe and memorable one.
The summit today 22nd May is being attended by the US Secretary of State Anthony John Blinken, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of New Zealand Chris Hipkins, Prime Minister of Fiji Sitiveni Rabuka, and the leaders of other Pacific Island countries.
