KAPRIS UNSEATS JOHN SIMON IN MAPRIK OPEN SEAT

Maprik Open Electorate in East Sepik has declared PNC Party Candidate Gabriel Kapris as the New Member Elect for Maprik District.
Returning officer Godfried Sokomia declared Mr Kapris at 4:30 pm Friday 22nd July 2022.
He was declared after exclusion 26 after polling a total of 16,657 beating the absolute majority of 16207+1.
Mr Kapris ousted Agriculture Minister and PANGU Candidate John Simon.
