A strong call has been put forward for a restructure of the PNG Electoral Commission. In an intense exchange with members of the Special Parliamentary Committee Review of the 2022 National General Elections today, former Electoral Commissioner, Reuben Kaiulo put forward strong recommendations. Kaiulo, who oversaw 3 successful National General Elections said to the chair of the committee Governor Allan Bird that for a long time nothing has been done to review the structure to ascertain potential flaws thus leading to people taking advantage of the system.
