The Innovative University of Enga (IUE) has ushered in a new era of academic excellence with the appointment of Dr. Brian Davis, PhD, as its President.
Following a global search for an experienced and visionary leader, Dr. Davis emerged as the ideal candidate to lead the university into a future of growth, innovation, and educational transformation.
Bringing over 20 years of experience in academic and administrative leadership, Dr. Davis has held key positions across prestigious institutions, including Dean, Department Chair, Director of Assessment, and Vice President for Academic Affairs in universities in the United States and abroad.
Most recently, he served as the Dean of the School of Computer Science & Mathematics at Kimep University in Kazakhstan, where he played a vital role in advancing academic programs and institutional development.
Dr. Davis’s expertise in higher education accreditation further reinforces his suitability for the role. As a former Accreditation Liaison Officer and Peer Reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission, the largest accrediting body in the United States, he has been instrumental in ensuring institutional compliance, fostering quality assurance, and enhancing educational outcomes. These qualifications position him as a key asset to IUE, particularly as the university completes its transition phase and solidifies its academic standing.
According to Mrs. Anna K. Bais, Chairperson of the IUE Council, the decision to recruit an international leader was intentional. The goal is to cultivate a unique academic culture and a progressive mindset toward learning, aligning with IUE’s motto: “Aut viam inveniam aut faciam”—Latin for “I shall either find a way or make one.”
