Although resources and funding may be an issue heading into the year, the Highlands Eastern Command plans to improve policing in the region.
ACP Highlands Eastern Command Rigga Neggi made these remarks stating that they have plans set in place, but a major obstacle now is the limited funding they have received in enacting their plans.
Besides that fact, Neggi ensured that the Highlands Eastern Command will continue to maintain its mandate to serve the people regardless of their shortfalls.
These would include proper maintenance of police facilities, heightened security along the highways and remote areas, along with continued awareness programs to ensure the expectations of safety and security for the people of the three provinces in the command remains their top priority.
“I plan to work closely with all stakeholders within this juncture to make sure our plans to police the 3 provinces and maintain peace are set and that we want to ensure that it is business as usual for all inhabitant of the command.”
A man with an extraordinary plan, ACP Neggi has pledged to work closely with the Provincial Administrations of the highlands three provinces within the command to better enhance the security within them.
Neggi is set on outlining his plans with all administration heads to see how they can all work together to maintain peace and a continual flow of business and within the command.
He remains optimistic and has assured that all plans made would be for the benefit of the people.
