Following their gritty semi-final victory over the NCDC Pom Vipers, ENB Agmark Gurias Head Coach Wartovo Puara Jr. has his team focused on the upcoming preliminary final of the 2025 Digicel ExxonMobil Cup.
Speaking to PNG HAUSBUNG after the win, Coach Puara acknowledged the formidable challenge ahead against the upcoming opponents.
“It won’t be easy. They have been really good all season and on top for the whole season. We know it’s not going to be easy.”
Despite the strength of their opponents, Puara stressed that the Gurias’ priority is their own preparation and readiness.
“Our focus is on ourselves. We want to play well next week as preparation is a big thing for us.”
He reiterated that the team’s approach would remain disciplined, with their attention solely on getting the groundwork right.
“Our main focus for this week and going into the game is we want to focus on ourselves. We want to get our preparation right and play to our very best.”
With this mindset, Puara has made it clear that a disciplined approach to preparation will be the Gurias’ strongest weapon as they look to overcome another tough challenge and push for a spot in the Grand Final.
