Out of the 78, 966 grade 10 students nationwide who will sit for their National Written Expression Exam today, a total of 1, 657 Grade 10 students from six secondary schools and five high schools in Western Province will be sitting for their Written Expression Exam.
Western Provincial Education Advisor Mr. Charlie Buia said that all exam papers have already been distributed to respective schools within the province to conduct the exams as scheduled on this year’s academic calendar.
He urged students and teachers to observe the exam rules and malpractices should not be entertained adding such practices would result in non-certification for students.
He challenged the students to prioritize education for a better living and parents in Western Province are advised to must also play their roles in educating their children.
Mr. Buia stressed that the students would be sitting for their final exams in October this year, for Grade 10’s, 12’s and 8’s, hence students should focus on studies and strive for excellence.
