Digicel PNG Foundation is proud to support the groundbreaking of a new women’s cottage at the iCare4U Center in Gereka, Port Moresby city.
Digicel PNG Foundation stated that the new women’s cottage is funded through their Community Grants Program, reinforcing their commitment to empowering vulnerable women and children affected by HIV and gender-based violence.
“From sanitation facilities to transitional housing, our partnership with iCare4U continues to deliver life changing support. This new facility will offer a safe, nurturing space for women to heal, rebuild, and thrive.
Every grant we award is an investment in hope. We are proud to stand with organizations creating real impact on the ground,” said Valda Kereu, Acting CEO.
Founder of iCare4U, George Nita said they are so thankful and grateful for this opportunity given to build a cottage dedicated to supporting women and children.
Present during the groundbreaking ceremony were Telstra CEO Roary Stasko, Telstra Board members, Digicel CEO Tarik Boudiaf and Digicel Foundation board members who witnessed the ceremony.
