Keeping hands clean is important to help prevent viruses and germs from spreading. Every day, we use our hands for many activities which exposes them to harmful bacteria that can cause sickness. Dentalife Australia (a research and development company in Melbourne specializing in dental and infection control materials) working in partnership with Oil Search Foundation (OSF) recently delivered 16,000 units of Handcare hand sanitizers to the Provincial Health Authorities in Southern Highlands, Hela, Gulf, and PNG Biomass in Lae. This indeed shows our determination in helping to protect healthcare workers in rural communities” “These donations will be useful in preventing the spread of germs especially in hospitals and health centres to maintain sterile conditions. In addition, the people that access the services live in remote areas where having fresh, safe water is a concern. By keeping a few bottles at the front of the door ensures that everyone cleans their hands upon entry.
