CPL Group through their Supermarket brand Stop and Shop is pleased to announce their partnership with Capital Rugby Union as Gold Sponsor for the 2023b season.
The sponsorship is valued at K70, 000.00 and was officiated in a mock-cheque presentation at Stop and Shop Waigani Central shop by CPL Group Executive Officer Navin Raju and Capital Rugby Uninon Vice-President John Nilkare in front of Club players, competition management and the media.

Capital Rugby Union (CRU) is Papua New Guinea and Port Moresby’s oldest and premier Rugby Union Competition, with five divisions and over 8 clubs participating, including women’s and junior competitions.
The competition has seen improvements in recent years, capped off with a successful 2022 season. The 2023 season is now currently underway, played on weekends at Bava Park, East Boroko, and concludes in August.
