Papua New Guinea has recorded 155 new COVID-19 cases as of 12 midday on Thursday April 15, increasing the total number of cases to 9,343. The cases were reported in 14 provinces. COVID-19 related deaths remain at 82. Globally, the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 is 136,996,364 including 679,003 new cases reported in the last 24 hours. The death toll is 2,951,832 of which 10,367 were reported in the last 24 hours. 22 provinces in PNG including the Autonomous Region of Bougainville (AROB) have reported cases, as shown below:
